More about RalliTEK:

RalliTEK’s purpose for their springs is to provide an everyday solution for individuals who commute daily with their vehicle, but also enjoy adventures up to the mountain or country trail for winter sports or summer shenanigans. Springs that would not only solve relevant issues but also improve the vehicle’s ability to perform in different climates around North America.

RalliTEK springs are designed, built, tested, and supported in Portland, Oregon, USA. A place is known for it's varying climates and terrain. RalliTEK's springs come with guarantees of satisfaction, manufacture warranties, and faster customer support than other off-road spring brands on the market.

RalliTEK springs are made from chrome silicon spring steel. Chrome silicon spring steel is awesome for conditions involving high stress and for applications where shock or impact loading occurs. Chrome silicon wire can withstand higher and lower temperatures than high-carbon steel wire which makes it an obvious choice for RalliTEK users that make regular mountain trips in the snow and to Mordor. These springs make street driving more fun when unloaded due to the increase in the spring rate. Riding on the trail when loaded with RalliTEK springs makes steering response and tracking much more predictable than with the same weight on factory springs.

Product Warning:

RalliTEK does not recommend using overload springs with any upgraded rear sway bar unless you also upgrade the front suspension of your vehicle. This is to avoid increased oversteer.

Outback adventures

I purchased a set of these along with the .4” over stock height rear overload springs from Rallitek for my 2011 Outback. The 10-12 Outback’s suspension is very soft and led to excessive body roll in corners and bounding on large bumps, especially when loaded. Now my Outback handles very nicely. I am amazed how well the car takes corners now. It is very flat and solid and there is no nose dive during heavy braking anymore. The load capacity is amazing now as well. I routinely load my car up for adventures and pull trailers and the difference is worth every penny. The ride is great loaded down and still not too bad when unloaded but is stiffer than stock. When going over speed bumps unloaded the rear wheels will slightly hop over the bump if you don’t slow down but that is just fine with me.

For those interested, here is some additional information that I hope will help you out. I paired my spring setup with 1” lift spacers all the way around, new KYB Excel G2 struts, and new KYB strut mounts. My total lift was 1” in the front and 1.4” in the rear. It looked a bit high in the rear at first but settled in very nicely after the first couple hundred miles of driving. If you add a lift you will need a rear subframe spacer kit or adjustable lower control arms and adjustable rear trailing arms to restore alignment and rear tire centering. My rear wheels had lots of positive camber that I had to correct. I bought a 1” rear subframe spacer kit and all is well now. It is cheaper to buy your lift spacers with the rear subframe alignment kit combined all in one kit but I didn’t know if I would need it so you can save some money using the lesson I learned. The front suspension worked just fine with the stock height springs and 1” lift spacers with no additional parts. If you don’t want any additional lift, the springs should work just fine by themselves with no extra parts necessary.

My recommendation, if you want your car to handle like a dream, haul loads better, be very stable during heavy braking and don’t mind a slightly stiffer ride when unloaded, then these springs are the way to go for sure! You won’t regret it.
